RFC ACCOUNTS

The Resident Foreign Currency Account is an interest bearing transaction account, open to Sri Lankans over 18 years of age. Accounts can be opened in US Dollars or any other designated currency with an initial deposit of USD 500/- or equivalent in other currencies.

Interest is calculated daily and credited monthly. But account holders will not be entitled for interest if the number of withdrawals per month exceeds four.
