We joined hands with Dialog Telekom PLC, Sri Lanka's largest mobile service provider to provide all Seylan Visa Credit Card holders with Dialog's eZ Pay service.
- eZ Pay is an mCommerce service which allows for users to make a variety of financial transactions using their mobile phone instead of carrying cash or Credit Cards.
- This facility is South Asia's first ever mCommerce network and was introduced in Sri Lanka
- With this new service Seylan Credit Card holders could use their mobile phones to pay for goods and services to the debit of their Credit Card account at any merchant outlets displaying the "eZ Pay" sign.
- Seylan Credit Card holders could settle utility bills such as electricity, water and telephone bills using the eZ Pay Service.
- Any Seylan Credit Card holder who has a Dialog Telekom prepaid or postpaid connection that is enabled with the eZ Pay service could enjoy the benefits of this service.
- Seylan Credit Card holders could replace their existing SIM with an "eZ Pay" enabled SIM free of charge at any Dialog Arcade or Dialog Service Point by completing an "eZ Pay" application form.
- All "eZ Pay" transactions are validated and authenticated by Seylan Bank using the customer's Personal Identification Number (PIN). This prevents unauthorized usage of the facility even if the phone is lost or stolen, since transactions will not be permitted without the PIN.
- Customers who don't have Seylan Credit Cards could go to the nearest Seylan Bank Branch and obtain a Credit Card instantly over the counter to enjoy the eZ Pay service.
- The Seylan Credit Card is the only Credit Card to offer this facility with a maximum credit period of 51 days without interest.
