If you are 60 years or above

Maintain a minimum balance of Rs 10,000/- in a current account or Rs 20,000/- in a savings account for a continuous unbroken period of 6 calendar months immediately preceding the 60th birthday will be entitled for a valuable wristwatch. (One off basis).

(Only for those who have not yet received under the Merit Rewards Scheme)

In case of Joint accounts, each joint account holder needs to maintain the minimum requirement, for them to avail themselves the wrist watch.

If you are 70 years or above

	Maintain a minimum balance of Rs 10,000/- in a current account or Rs 20,000/- in a savings account for a continuous unbroken period of 12 calendar months. *** Get reimbursed your Medical Expenses** Medical Expenses (inclusive of bills for medicine, Doctor’s consultation fees, other medical expenses such as X Rays, cost of medical investigations etc.) could be reimbursed within an upper limit as stated below ( certified by a doctor’s prescription wherever necessary)
	For septuagenarians (age group 70 – 79 years), a reimbursement of Medical Bills aggregating to LKR 5,000/-
	For Octogenarians (age group 80 – 89 years) reimbursement of Medical Bills aggregating to Rs. 10,000/-
	For Nonagenarians (age group 90 - 99 years) reimbursement of Medical bills aggregating to Rs. 15,000/-
	For Centenarians (above 100 years), reimbursement of Medical Bills aggregating to Rs. 20,000/- The above limits are applicable for a period of one year from the date of the first claim. *** Reading Materials** One year subscription to the Readers Digest Magazine or any other local newspaper / news magazine could be reimbursed. This would be on a one off basis and will not be repeated thereafter.
